As a part of our Abacus Course, we started with this Weekly Test Contest in 2012. This Contest is primarily aimed at encouraging students to practice Abacus sums regularly & improve their performance. As I have mentioned in the Introduction, the Abacus Course gives maximum benefit when a student practices for atleast 10 to 15 minutes everyday. Those who practice regularly, automatically gain speed & perform better at the Weekly Tests. These tests comprise of 20 sums. The sums are as per the student's current Level of the Course. The Contest is open to all students from Level-2 to Level-6. Each week's marks (out of 100) are recorded. Each Contest runs over a duration of 8 to 10 weeks. The students managing to be in the Top Ranks in their respective Groups are given away prizes at the end of each Contest.
The lure of the prizes encourages most students to improve their performance via regular practice of Abacus sums at home. Apart from the prizes, the photos of all prize winners is posted on this website so that they can be in the limelight as well. I will be posting regular Contest updates with latest Rankings position on this website so that all students as well as their parents can monitor their progress.
